Androgel & Androderm
(testosterone)
Transdermal Testosterone has been marketed heavily in the Hormone Replacement Therapy Market for the last decade. For over 50 years, testosterone therapy has been used for the treatment of hypogonadism. In recent years, there has been an increase in the use of testosterone therapy for men with late-onset hypogonadism, sometimes referred to as andropause. Testosterone therapy in older and hypogonadic men can significantly improve their sense of well-being, and lead to increases in muscle and bone mass, upper body strength, virility and libido (5). Oral delivery of unmodified testosterone is not really a viable option, due to it´s rapid first-pass metabolism, possible liver toxicity, and its relatively short half-life. more…

Have you ever heard of the issues that revolve around performance enhancing drugs like steroids? You probably already know that these types of drugs offer benefits for certain health conditions, like bone marrow degeneration, growth problems, and hormone imbalances. In recent medical papers, anabolic steroids have shown promise in assisting in the prevention of osteoporosis, or bone loss.
However, not many people are aware of the legalities and possible health risks that are accompanying the usage of steroids. One of the reasons that people get risks from using this drug is that they do not familiarize themselves with their options, and that they do not follow a steroid cycle of administration. Overdose is always a growing concern. Furthermore, some dietary habits can counteract the effects of steroids.
So the question now is, how to use steroids safely? If you are to take steroids using injections, be sure you are administering the drug with clean or sterile hypodermic needles. If you are not aware of how to do this, have a medical practitioner help you out. In the case of the pills, be sure you follow the doses as prescribed by your fitness consultant and doctor. Some steroid cycles only need you to take pills daily for a few weeks, after which you need to stop. This helps reduce the possibility of getting side effects.

Steroids are lab-made drugs that enhance performance in sexual and sports activities plus its capability in building muscles fast. In the 1930’s, anabolic steroids became famous in the pharmaceutical industry. The use of anabolic steroids is usually for building muscles and enhancing testosterone levels to cure impotency. However, this drug can be available only through doctor’s prescription. With its promising results, especially among athletes, anabolic steroids became vulnerable for abuse. Hence, many countries have considered amending their drug laws, which included legalities of steroids.
Medically speaking, steroids are efficient in bone generation; hence, it is effective in treating osteoporosis and some growth deficiencies among children. In addition, it also rehabilitates a degenerated bone marrow. As steroids also function as hormone replacements, it is effective among persons experiencing weight loss particularly patients with chronic illnesses. Anadrol 50 (oxymetholone)
Anadrol 50(commonly called by athletes “A50″ or “A-bombs”) was initially developed as a compound to help people with anemia, and has since been used very successfully to aid people who are suffering from many other diseases where weight loss is a concern. Thus, it is clearly an effective agent for promoting weight gain, increasing appetite, gaining strength, and increasing Red Blood Cell count. And, as with most Anabolic/Androgenic Steroids (AAS), it has it´s downsides as well. Anadrol will inhibit your body´s natural production of hormones (testosterone, etc& ), will negatively affect your blood lipid profile, can cause water retention, is notorious for causing headaches, and is also highly liver toxic (in fact, it has the worst reputation for hepatoxicity out of all steroids). Paradoxically, although one the benefits touted by it´s original manufacturer (Syntex) is that it can be used to stimulate weight gain through increasing appetite, taking too much may actually inhibit your appetite! more…
